		<description>just curious about the sherwood genealogy.my uncle geoff,my mothers brother wrote the sherwood ancestory australia book and although he and his sister noela are deceased now there are still 3 surviving sisters with numerous children and grandchildren.the &#039;listed&#039; survivor jillian is not the only one.robyn ann (my mum) is john and ediths daughter also beverley is another daughter and noela who died quite along time ago.i can get exact dates.my nanna (edith olive) died the year after grandpa.robyn married francis john higgins and has my brother garry,deceased,jennifer,deanne and my self.aunty bev has three girls,kelly fiona and phillipa and noela also had descendant.there are also numerous grandchildren.i look forward to some explanation of these details as im sure they were true and correct in uncle geoffs book</description>

		<description>Hi there. just came across this site, my uncle William was also on the Exeter and at Fukuoka and also died from a fractured skull in 1943. I have many original documents and letters from that period if you would like to see a copy.

		<description>my father FREDERICK DIXIE served &amp; was sunk in THE JAVA SEA on HMS EXETER &amp; was a japanese POW....not sure which camp he was in.....he would never talk about it EVER!!.....if u knew my father or have any information about the sinking &amp; what happend in the camp i would be eternaly gratefull if u could let me know....thanx...F.A DIXIE</description>

I remember my Dad telling me about the workmate next to him who fell from the scaffold on which they were working riveting the side of the ship. Have also found camp commander&#039;s note dated 5th July 1942 referring to accident at shipyard, think this could possibly be Victor ?</description>
